Keon Coleman shined as the brightest star in Orlando on Sunday night. The eighth-ranked Florida State Seminoles toppled the fifth-ranked LSU Tigers, and the transfer wide receiver was a huge reason. The former Michigan State Spartans star scored a hat trick of receiving touchdowns on the night to power the Seminoles to victory.

Coleman’s first score drew first blood in the matchup. The Seminoles led the Fighting Tigers 7-0 following Coleman’s exciting catch-and-run.

Coleman then later showed off his hands and ability to go up and get one. He pulled in another touchdown from quarterback Jordan Travis, who we might imagine will enjoy throwing to No. 4 this season in Tallahassee.

Then, in the fourth quarter, Coleman scored once again. The former Spartan made it three times in the end zone on the evening in Orlando. He will be a fit for ACC defenses to deal with this season.

Coleman’s performance drew significant praise around the country on Sunday night.

For Matt Miller of ESPN, this performance was something the draft expert expected. “Now you see why he’s been projected as a 1st Rounder even before he played at FSU,” Miller posted.

Florida State should rise inside the Top 10 as a result of this victory. The Top 10 was otherwise unchanged as teams No. 1-4, 6, 7, and 10th-ranked teams all won this weekend. The eighth-ranked ‘Noles probably will rise up a point since everyone ahead of them, besides the fifth-ranked Tigers, all picked up victories this weekend.

By the game’s end, with the score 45-24, the ‘Noles could surely credit Keon Coleman for the victory.
