Miami Hurricanes’ new quarterback Carson Beck has benefitted greatly from the rise of NIL deals in college football. But unfortunately, his net worth took a drastic hit on Thursday as a result of he and his girlfriend being the victims of a horrible crime.
According to Sports Illustrated, Beck is receiving over $4 million in NIL compensation for the upcoming season, which was used to purchase two luxury cars.
Unfortunately, those cars were reportedly stolen from him at some point between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. According to Andy Slater of Fox Sports 640 in South Florida, cops are still actively looking for a stolen Lamborghini belonging to Beck.
SLATER SCOOP: Miami Hurricanes QB Carson Beck had both of his cars stolen in South Florida overnight, a senior law-enforcement official tells me.
His girlfriend Hanna Cavinder’s SUV was also stolen but found.
Cops are currently looking for Beck’s Mercedes and Lamborghini.

Slater did add that Beck’s Mercedes was also stolen but was later found by officers in South Miami and returned back to him.

Luckily, Beck’s girlfriend Hanna Cavinder, a fellow Miami Hurricanes collegiate athlete on the women’s basketball team, did have her car retrieved by police officers on Thursday morning after also being stolen.
Currently, there are no leads as to whether there are any at-large suspects or where Beck’s Lamborghini could possibly be. But obviously, it is first and foremost a positive that nobody was hurt in this situation, as it sounds like there are likely multiple suspects involved in the multi-car theft.
Obviously, this isn’t exactly the greatest introduction to the University of Miami for Beck, who he is expected to be the starting quarterback for heading into 2025 after spending the 2024 season with the Georgia Bulldogs.
Hopefully, this situation will be resolved and his time at Miami gets better as we approach the 2025 college football season.
