Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh could be suspended for the “bulk” of the 2024 season, according to a report Saturday.
Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman noted during Saturday’s ‘Big Noon Kickoff’ that Harbaugh and the Wolverines dropped their appeal of the coach’s three-game suspension by the Big Ten when they learned about evidence the conference had found.
“Midweek, Michigan was all in to battle the Big Ten … late Wednesday night, I’m told, they got sp0oked,” Feldman said. “They had learned that the Big Ten had really damning evidence.”
Feldman said that part of the agreement to accept the suspension is that the Big Ten would seek no further penalties, and “let the NCAA process play out.”
That NCAA investigation into the sign-stealing scandal is ongoing. So is the NCAA probe into recruiting violations by the Wolverines during the Covid pandemic.
Given those two issues, Feldman says Harbaugh is facing serious punishment.
“It would not be surprising if Jim Harbaugh, if he is still the coach at Michigan, could be suspended for the bulk of the 2024 season, I’m told,” Feldman said.
Feldman, like many others, thinks Harbaugh may not stick around to serve any suspension.
“Jim Harbaugh is a wildly successful head coach in the NFL,” Feldman said. “Don’t be surprised if somebody else comes after him and he decides, “You know what, the timing’s right, maybe I’ve got to make the move.'”

New evidence that hushed up Michigan in a hurry? They don’t want it made public… we need to know what it is.

In week when a sideline reporter came under fire, I’m hoping “I’m told,” or “source close to the team told me,” faces some skepticism.

Won’t matter, he’ll be the next coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

So many experts say different things so there’s no telling what the truth really is.

With all due respect Bruce said last week that Harbaugh was coaching in the game.
I don’t see this happening. There is a massive grey area as to the definition of “in person” scouts as opposed to 3rd party scouts which is legal.
I expect it to be litigated
