This week, the Texas A&M Aggies baseball team suffered a pretty lopsided loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, falling 12-1 to the Tide on Saturday afternoon. It was a beatdown that had Texas A&M head coach Jim Schlossnagle comparing it to a typical Alabama football game.

After the game, Schlossnagle was asked about the lopsided finish, and he compared the loss to the way Nick Saban’s Alabama football teams often blow out opponents.

“Crimson Tide put it on us,” Schlossnagle said after the game according to On3. “Nick Saban running the score up over there.”

Schlossnagle made it clear that Alabama was simply the better team in every aspect of the game on Saturday afternoon, and they came away with a blowout win as a result.

“They beat us in every phase,” Schlossnagle said. “Just trying to get through the game. Once we get down a little bit, trying to get through the game with some guys that hadn’t pitched in a while. Give all the credit to Alabama. Got to be ready to go tomorrow,” Schlossnagle said.

Jimbo Fisher will obviously hope this isn’t an omen for what Saban will do to his team this upcoming college football season.
