Just ahead of Veterans Day and their game against Ole Miss, Alabama head coach Nick Saban thank military veterans ahead of Veterans Day, which will be celebrated Friday.
Nick Saban: "With Veterans Day coming up this week, I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank all the veterans that have served our country."

“One thing I’d like to mention — Veterans Day coming up this week,” said Saban before taking questions from the media on Wednesday. “Just like to take this opportunity to thank all the veterans who served our country. To make the sacrifices they made for the quality of life that maybe so many of us take for granted that we certainly shouldn’t.
“It’s hard to feel bad if you have gratitude for what we have, and we have one of the greatest countries in the world. And all these servicemen have made sacrifices so that we can maintain that. And we appreciate what they do more than you know.”
For those who may not know, Saban spent time as an assistant back in the early ’80s with United States Naval Academy, which is one reason he has so much appreciation for the military and is known to give speeches to his team about the discipline he had learned while coaching there.
We will Saturday afternoon if Saban’s team will have any discipline as they try to win on the road against the Ole Miss Rebels.
