Saturday’s matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines is undoubtedly the most anticipated matchup of the college football season. Most expect that it should be a tightly contested game, but one bettor seems to be extremely confident on one side of the game.

According to Darren Rovell of the Action Network, a bettor in New Jersey wagered a whopping $753,535 on Ohio State to beat Michigan on Saturday.

The bet was reportedly placed on WynnBet, and it currently sits as the largest wager placed on any college football game at the sportsbook this season.

If Ohio State does come away with the win, the bettor would receive $239,214 from the bet.

Both teams come into this matchup undefeated on the year have 11-0 records, so it is certainly shocking to see someone have so much conviction that the Buckeyes are going to win this matchup.

The story of this matchup appears very clear. It very much seems like it will be Ohio State’s dynamic offense against the stifling defense of Michigan.

The Buckeyes are currently tied for first in the FBS in points per game, while Michigan only trails Georgia in the country for the least amount of points allowed per game.

Whoever placed this wild wager must believe that Ohio State’s offense will prevail, but on paper this looks like about as even of a matchup as you can have in college football.
