The first-ever edition of the expanded college football playoff was dominated by the Ohio State Buckeyes. Many counted the Buckeyes out after they lost to their arch rival Michigan Wolverines, brutally for the fourth year in a row.

However, the Buckeyes banded together and rallied for their playoff run, which culminated with a victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the National Championship.

En route to the national championship, the Buckeyes faced the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl, where they thoroughly dominated the Ducks for all four quarters. It appears that the bad blood between the two schools isn’t going anywhere anytime soon either.

The University of Oregon has made a shocking legal move against one of the coaches on Ohio State head coach Ryan Day’s staff.

“The University of Oregon is suing Ohio State running backs coach Carlos Locklyn for breach of contract, claiming he owes a buyout of $400,000,” reported Ohio State outlet Eleven Warriors on Wednesday.

Fans reacted to the lawsuit on social media.

“Still ain’t over that Rose Bowl I see,” one Ohio State fan wrote on Twitter.

“Oh I thought they were suing him for what he taught trey Henderson to do to them,” another fan added.

“Sounds like sour grapes to me. Considering we outrushed them 181 to -23 in the Rose Bowl. I’d be embarrassed and mad as hell too if I rushed for -23 yards in a Rose Bowl,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see how things go for Locklyn and the Buckeyes.
