The Georgia Bulldogs and TCU Horned Frogs face each other Monday night for college football’s national championship. Before the game, there are always bets made between the opposing fans, but things got a little weird on the set of TNT’s Inside the NBA on Thursday night.
Host Ernie Johnson, who is a Georgia grad, said confidently that his Bulldogs will win Monday night by a score of 45-17. However, Shaquille O’Neal did his best Lee Corso impression and said not so fast my friend.
He thinks TCU will defeat Georgia. So confident is O’Neal that he bet Johnson that if Georgia wins, he’ll eat a horned frog.
“If Georgia beats TCU, I’ll eat some frogs. I’ll eat a horned frog,”

Why would Shaq say that knowing that he literally has no dog in this fight? Well, because like Johnson, Shaq is an SEC grad. Shaq attended LSU back in the 1990s and SEC grads and fans like to give each other a hard time, which is probably why Shaq made the beat with Johnson.
The interesting part will be if Shaq lives up to the bet. Frogs are a delicacy in certain parts of the South, but O’Neal may be biting off more than he can chew literally by eating a horned frog. That’s if he can even find one.
