Shedeur Sanders received a special message after he led the Colorado Buffaloes’ victory in overtime over their rivals Colorado State in overtime.

Sanders said he was in “Brady mode” Saturday while leading his team to victory.

“All I was thinking is Brady mode,” Sanders said after the game. “That’s it, simple. Brady mode, that’s it. They left too much time out there.”

Brady heard what Sanders said about him and sent him a message after the game.

“I just want to go Shedeur mode at some point in life. Great win,” said Brady.

Sanders revealed that he and Brady do have a special relationship and they talk on a regular basis.

“We talk after every game, I’m sure he’s gonna text me at any second.”

Sanders has set the college football world on fire with his play, averaging almost 500 passing yards per game. His comeback Saturday night against Colorado State didn’t hurt his Heisman chances which continue to grow after this victory.

He can really elevate his status if the Buffs pull the upset and beat Oregon this upcoming Saturday.

The Heisman hype started with Travis Hunter who plays cornerback and wide receiver for Colorado but he is expected to be out a few weeks due to injuries, so the spotlight will be completely on Sanders now.
