Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady clearly has a ton on his plate with his marriage issues with wife Gisele Bündchen and the NFL season being fully underway. Despite all this going on, he still has time for a partnership with college football star Shedeur Sanders for Brady’s apparel brand.

Brady revealed to People that he would be forming a partnership with Jackson State quarterback Shedeur Sanders for his apparel brand called “BRADY.”

Sanders is the son of Jackson State coach and former NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, and he and Brady have apparently been close for quite some time.

In a statement following the partnership announcement, Sanders says that he feels grateful to join the brand of Brady, who he calls a “mentor.”

“Tom has been a longtime mentor to me, both on and off the field and I’ve been a fan of his apparel brand since its inception, so this partnership feels like a natural next step,” Sanders said. “I couldn’t be more grateful and excited to join the list of world-class athletes that represent the brand”

Brady also released a statement on the partnership, saying that Sanders perfectly embodies what his brand is all about.

“Shedeur Sanders is the perfect ambassador for BRADY,” Brady told People. “He embodies everything we look for in a BRADY athlete and his character and values align perfectly with our brand. Not only is he an exceptional football player and quarterback but he is one of the most influential players of his generation, and we’re thrilled that he’s officially joining the BRADY family,”

Sanders has certainly made noise across the college football world this season, leading Jackson State to an impressive 5-0 start while throwing for 17 touchdowns and only two interceptions.

This partnership will bring even more eyes to him as he attempts to follow in his father’s footsteps and parlay his college success into a potential NFL career down the road.
