Fox Sports host Skip Bayless has never been one to hold back on his opinion on anything. This time, however, his opinion seems to be pretty positive regarding a college football head coach.

Bayless says he believes new Colorado head coach Deion Sanders can win a national championship in Boulder.

“I believe Deion Sanders can win a national championship at Colorado within four to five years. Whatever he chooses to do it’s going to work because he’s got the magic Midas touch.”

Bayless thinks even Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh should be worried about Sanders. However, this is not the SWAC where Sanders had a huge advantage over other coaches because of name recognition. He now has to recruit against Pac-12 powerhouses like Oregon, USC, and current conference champion Utah, not to mention up-and-coming teams like UCLA.

If Sanders is given the time, he could turn the Buffaloes into a Pac -12 powerhouse too but it may not happen overnight as it did at Jackson State. It will take time and patience to build the kind of culture that Sanders wants to have there but it can happen.

Sanders just has to hope Colorado fans have the patience to watch it take place.
