If you are a faithful watcher of Saturday Night Live you know that the comedy skit show likes to parody different figures in pop culture and politics and this week, they decided to go after Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.

Kenan Thompson did a spot-on impression of the head coach even down to his attire with the Colorado hoodie and sunglasses.

“Sanders” made an appearance on “Weekend Update” to talk about his team with anchor Colin Jost.

The segment lampooned Sanders and his trademark confidence and they talked about the Buffs’ loss to Stanford Friday night after blowing a huge lead.

“We just keep winning, man,” Thompson said in the role of Sanders. “Every game, every minute. We winning at life.”

“Yeah, you’re also 4-3, so you have lost a few,” Jost told him.

“Colin, look at me, man,” the fictional Coach Prime said. “What about me makes you think that I care about what you think about me? You don’t understand that my team has it all, man. Coaching? Genius.  Offense? Explosive. Defense? Trying. It’s a complete package, man.”

Jost also reminded the fictional Sanders his team wasn’t perfect either.

“Man, we went up 29 to nothing at the half, so I went home and fell asleep.  I woke up this morning as shocked as anyone … Nobody’s perfect. Name one team that’s undefeated,” Sanders said.

Jost went on to name several.

Most fans thought the segment was funny but there are a few who disagreed

You have to wonder how Coach Prime will respond to this, or if he will respond.
