If you noticed that the Georgia Bulldogs‘ offense has been a bit off this season, you not alone. Although the Dawgs had no problem handling Auburn this past Saturday, a week before they struggled against the Missouri Tigers, winning in the closing minutes of that game, 24-20.

But one thing the public didn’t know was that quarterback Stetson Bennett has been suffering from an arm injury. Bennett’s injury may explain why his team is struggling offensively this season according to DawgNation insider Mike Griffith no WJOX Radio out of Birmingham, Alabama.

Griffin talked about Bennett’s injury before Georgia’s game against Vanderbilt this coming weekend.

“We’re in the road-rage stage of the college football season, where some fans are going off the deep end,” Griffith stated “I try to be a weatherman and tell the temperature, what it really is.”

He continued.

“Stetson’s not throwing the ball well deep this year, it’s documented,” he said. Bennett has only thrown five touchdowns this season in through games and is only averaging 8.8 yards per game.

Although so far the Dawgs and Bennett have been able to get away with it these first few games of the season, they still have to face Florida, Kentucky, and Tennessee down the road, all have pretty good quarterbacks and decent offenses.

If the Dawgs don’t get it in gear soon offensively, they won’t be holding on to the No. 1 ranking for long.
