Tennessee Uniforms

Two weeks after topping the Alabama Crimson Tide in a shocking upset victory, the Tennessee Volunteers have yet another high-profile matchup as they host the Kentucky Wildcats in a showdown on Saturday night between two top-20 teams. And when the Volunteers take the field on Halloween night, they’ll be wearing some pretty slick blackout uniforms.

On Wednesday, the Tennessee Volunteers gave the college football world a sneak peek of the awesome all-black uniform set that they will be wearing on Saturday night. The uniform features a black helmet, black pants, and a black jersey with orange trim on the numbers, the jersey sleeves, and the helmet stripe.

After Tennessee revealed the blackout uniforms on Twitter, the college football world had plenty to say about the new look. All in all, the uniforms got some pretty solid reviews from nearly everyone ahead of Saturday’s game.

The blackout uniforms look pretty slick during that photoshoot, but they’ll likely look even better when the team wears them under the lights on Saturday night.

Saturday’s game between Tennessee and Kentucky kicks off at 7 p.m. as the Volunteers look to continue their dominance and add another quality win to their College Football Playoff resume.
