As many college football fans already know, Notre Dame offensive coordinator Tommy Rees visited Alabama Thursday to interview for their offensive coordinator position.

Bama’s former OC Bill O’Brien took the same position with the New England Patriots and reunited with Bill Belichick.

Many people were shocked that Rees’s name has even come up for the position considering the fact that Notre Dame’s offense was 40th in the country last year, while Alabama’s offense was just outside of the top 10 at No. 11.

The pick has some Bama fans worried after many wanted to see O’Brien gone, as it looks as if head coach Nick Saban has offered Rees the position and is waiting for an answer.

A lot of college football analysts think that Rees is a rising star in the field and  Saban is making an excellent choice in picking Rees as his new OC. But there always will be those who may question this decision.

A lot of college football analysts think the hire would be a huge hit for Bama.

Although nothing is official yet, it seems as if Rees will be taking the Bama job, leaving Notre Dame with an unexpected opening. While some Crimson Tide fans may be slightly upset about the move, it seems as if those in the know think that Nick Saban may be on point with this hire.
