It’s never too early to talk about the 2023 NFL Draft and the needs of several NFL teams at quarterback. The consensus among most NFL experts is that the two top quarterbacks in next year’s NFL Draft are Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Alabama’s Bryce Young.

Both are great passers and can run the ball effectively if need be. But which NFL should take a chance and draft one of them as their quarterback of the future? Let’s take a look.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Yes, Tom Brady is still the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. But in all likelihood, this is it for Brady. The team’s struggles have been magnified by his age and ability this season. He can’t carry the team on his back as he used to and now it may be time for the changing of the guard at quarterback.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Derek Carr experience could be over in Vegas. The team has one of the best wide receivers in the game in Davante Adams and they still can’t get him the ball. It’s time for a change and there is no time like the present to make a change. Carr is not getting it done for the Raiders.

New Orleans Saints

Injuries to Jameis Winston have plagued the Saints for the last two seasons and you have to believe that if they plug in the right quarterback, they could easily make the playoffs next year. Both Stroud or Young would be the perfect fit for this Saints offense that has the pieces around them to be a contender next year.

Carolina Panthers

It’s easy to see that Baker Mayfield‘s days as a starter are coming to a close. He hasn’t done much to help this team to become better. Although it’s not all his fault, most of it is. Mistakes have always hurt Mayfield in his career , which is why the Cleveland Browns gave up on him.

Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have proven they are ready for a change after firing head coach Frank Reich. Matt Ryan is another quarterback that has seen better days at that position, and Sam Ehlinger hasn’t been much of an upgrade. Maybe with a new head coach and a better quarterback, the Colts can make a return to their glory days of winning the AFC.
