Burger King must be stopped.

The fast-food chain is using the ingredients they put into their Whopper cheeseburger — beef, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles, and white onions — and rolling them up into a flour tortilla, burrito style.

Yep… they’re calling it the “Whopperito”. This is actually a thing being tested out at a Hermitage, Pennsylvania Burger King location, according to GrubGrade:

Whopper+Burrito = New Whopperrito from Burger King #fastfood #burgerking #whopperrito

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY? (Answer: Because the world is a very messed up place)

But seriously, if Burger King really is going to give the Whopperito a shot at more locations, the demographics become a big factor, because I’m guessing 90% of the people that would give this wacky thing a try are going to be high or drunk, and in the 18-35 age range. We’re talking college towns or downtown in big cities.

And since munchies — for the suggested 90% — are usually going to kick in late-night, Burger King would likely have to keep their restaurants open until 2 AM+ (basically just become Jack in the Box) to sell many of these Whopperitos.

So, add all of that up, and it’s hard to see the Whopperito actually coming to your town. Thankfully.
