McDonald's sauces

Have you ever grilled your own burger at home and feel like it’s just missing something? Perhaps a signature sauce from a popular fast food destination? If you have felt like your burgers and condiments were of too high a quality, then McDonald’s is coming to the rescue to help you add that taste you’ve been missing at home. McDonald’s is preparing to sell bottles of sauces used on Big Macs and McChicken sandwiches in grocery stores.

For now, only those in Canada will be able to purchase the bottled sauces from McDonald’s. There will be three sauces to choose from. In addition to the sauce for the previously mentioned Big Mac and McChicken, McDonald’s is also stocking the shelves with its Filet-O-Fish sauce. The new condiment options should start appearing in the grocery stores sometime this spring. We’ll see if McDonald’s brings these down to the United States in the future.

“With this launch, Canadians will now be able to experience the world famous sauces they love at home,” spokesperson Adam Grachnik said in a statement. “We look forward to sharing more details soon.”

If these sauces do well, could we be opening the door for more McDonald’s sauces, such as barbecue? And will other fast food giants notice this and join in on the fun?

If you don’t want to spend the money on the sauces, you can always try your hand at making them yourself…

So no you can have your two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles onions on a sesame seed bun at home just the way you would on the go. Or something like that.
