Last week, Draymond Green fired a shot at FS1 personality Skip Bayless, practically begging him to respond.
“Dude just sits up there and spews hate,” Green said. “I hope I give him a soundbite for his show because it’s dying.”
Thursday, Green got his wish, as The Skip Bayless Show host trashed Green on his podcast, calling him “the dirtiest player in NBA history by far.”
“Here’s the astonishing truth about Draymond Green,” Bayless said. “Draymond Green is, no exaggeration, the dirtiest player in NBA history by far. The dirtiest player in NBA history by far is Draymond Green.”
Bayless challenged viewers to call up those “lowlight tapes, of the cavalcade of Draymond Green’s dirtiest plays over the years … the cheap shots, the low blows, the dangerous plays. Draymond is the all-time cheap-shot artist.”
Bayless said despite all that, many fans love Green.
“Everybody loves Draymond,” Bayless said. “Somehow his perception is his reality … the perception of Draymond is, ‘He’s such a nice guy, he’s so fun, he’s funny, he’s glib, he’s witty … he’s just so entertaining, that’s Draymond.
“The truth is, Draymond Green is just a great actor. At his core, deepest down, he’s always been a dirty basketball player with one or two screws loose.”

Bayless went on to point out some specific incidents involving Green, including the infamous altercation in 2022 with then-Golden State Warriors teammate Jordan Poole.
Granted, Green would rank high, if not No. 1, on any legitimate “Dirtiest Players in NBA History” list, but for Bayless to make that claim now, just days after Green branded him one of the biggest haters covering the NBA, daring him to respond, is a bad look for Bayless.
There’s Sensationalism, Hot Takes, Clickbait, and now this. This is less accurate commentary, than it is an opinionated response. https://t.co/c8rgwNGiwN
