By now, most of us know not to bet against Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes.

Throughout his career, he defied the odds, yet others still feel the need to bet against him, one man in particular.

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale has dared to bet against the two-time Super Bowl MVP in the past and has been burned by the star QB.

Mattress Mack and  the Super Bowl MVP met at the Kentucky Derby on the red carpet Saturday and told Mahomes, “You cost me millions betting against you.” Mahomes replied jokingly, “You gotta be with me next time.”

Mack reportedly betted $4.5 million on the Bengals to win the Super Bowl back in 2022, who would later lose to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game this past season.

He also bet 1 million dollars back in 2020 for the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl; they didn’t either.

You may ask yourself why this million-dollar furniture ceo makes such ridiculous bets. First, he can afford it, and second, because sometimes, his chances pay off.

Last year, Mack made a $10 million bet that the Houston Astros would win the World Series, and they did. He won $75 million on just that one chance alone.

So maybe he knows what he is doing…except when betting against Patrick Mahomes.
