Disney has fans of all ages, because it brings out the kid in you the moment you step through the turnstiles at the entrance. It’s a nice warm and fuzzy feeling, and to some it never gets old. But if you are like me, you can get your Disney fix in a seven-day trip to a Disney resort or park.

Jeff Reitz of California is certainly not at all like me. Reitz made his way through the entrance to Disneyland on Thursday the same way he has each day since January 1… 2012.

Count up the days and it turns out Reitz has now visited Disneyland for 2,000 consecutive days. And by the time you are reading this, he may have been there 2,001 straight days. That’s pretty much the classic definition of Disney overload, but it is safe to say Reitz is a big enough Disney fan that he has no regrets about his life choices.

I’m still having fun with it, that’s the only reason I’m still doing this,” Reitz said to KTLA. “It wasn’t about going for records or anything like that. That’s been a bonus.”

Disneyland confirmed in a news release that Reitz has come to the park for 2,000 consecutive days starting on January 1, 2012. It is believed that Reitz, who owns an annual passholder pass to Disneyland, holds the record for most consecutive days attending Disneyland. But after 2,000 days, what more is there to do that has not already been done? It turns out, Reitz is a bit of a people watcher.

“Even doing like Walt, and sitting down and people watching – just enjoying the atmosphere,” Reitz said.

That probably comes off a little creepier than it should, but Reitz is clearly just having a good time enjoying the atmosphere and there should be nothing wrong with an Air Force vet getting a chance to do so.
