Florida Man, doctor

Welcome to the adventures of Florida Man, the world’s greatest superhero! He shoots randomly and injures a 14 year old girl one house over, then proclaims the 2nd Amendment protects him from being an idiot. He was also married to three women at the same time, and now, he’s been accused of impersonating a doctor for a second time!

Malachi A. Love-Robinson (what a name) was arrested on Tuesday after trying to perform a physical on an undercover agent in West Palm Beach. He was able to open an office called New Birth New Life Medical Center & Urgent Care, which by the way still has its website open.

The site’s description of Love-Robinson claims he is a “well rounded professional that treats, and cares for patients, using a system of practice that bases treatment of physiological functions and abnormal conditions on natural laws governing the human body. Dr Love-Robinson utilizes physiological, psychological, and mechanical methods, such as air, water, light, heat, earth, phototherapy, food and herb therapy, psychotherapy, electrotherapy, physiotherapy, mechanotherapy, naturopathic corrections and manipulation, and natural methods or modalities, together with natural medicines, natural processed foods, and herbs and nature’s remedies.”

Someone’s been skimming through their thesaurus again.

But here’s the kicker: Love-Robinson is only 18 years old. A tipster told the Florida Department of Health that he was “a person who was portraying himself as a 25-year-old doctor was actually an 18-year-old,” according to the New York Times.

Amazingly, this isn’t the first time Love-Robinson has been caught impersonating a doctor. He was issued a cease-and-desist notice for practicing medicine without a license at an addiction recovery clinic in Boynton Beach, and was taken into custody in January of last year when he was walking through the halls of a West Palm Beach hospital in a lab coat and stethoscope.

And with the kicker, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office!
