You may have heard the story of 19-year-old Austin Harrouf, who murdered a couple in Jupiter, Florida and then bit off the flesh of the man he had just killed right after. As if the story couldn’t be weird enough already, it’s going to get weirder…
First, when he left the sports bar in Jupiter where he was eating with his father, he was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat. But apparently, that’s not the strangest part of the tale. When his mother called 911 a few hours after her son had disappeared, she described him in some unusual terms:
She told the dispatcher that her son “feels immortal, like a superhero”, which would make sense because this story is the most Florida Man story ever written. Later, she went on to describe what her son was wearing and what he had on him, and it’s actually quite terrifying, despite my joking:
“He has no ID on him, no phone… And I think the only thing he has on him is a pocket knife switchblade.
He’s white, he has brownish, brown hair, light brown hair. Um, he’s wearing white shorts, and he had a blue polo on, if he’s wearing it. And a red hat, Make America Great Again.”
This story is going to get even more and more bizarre as more details are released, so stay tuned for that.
