Police in Delta (British Columbia), Canada recently received a call that “several people were arguing and threatening to shoot each other” outside of a home, according to the Vancouver Sun.
When police arrived at the scene, they found four men… having a Nerf gun battle.

Spokeswoman Cris Leykauf of the Delta Police Department says officers arrived to find the men battling each other with Nerf guns, without a clue they were carrying on at 2 a.m.
Now, it’s probably rude to do this in a neighborhood at 2 AM when people are trying to sleep, but this is such a Canadian story. Nope, not a gun fight- just four grown men playing with children’s toys (although the Vancouver Sun does report that one man suffered a “minor welt” in the battle).
