Give me a break.
Some people break into cars for the purse in the front seat or the chance to steal a car radio. Some, however, break into cars for chocolate bars. On Sunday, the day before Halloween, a student at Kansas State University tweeted out a photo of a note written on a napkin. The note was allegedly from a person that went into the student’s car for a Kit Kat bar sitting in a cup holder.
Left my car for maybe 15 minutes in front of the dorms and I come back to this. College man pic.twitter.com/KlDx5BtXLX

“Saw Kit Kat in your cup holder. I love Kit Kats so I checked your door and it was unlocked. Did not take anything other than the Kit Kat. I am sorry and hungry.”
First off, leaving your car unlocked is usually not a good idea. This is especially true on the day before Halloween with candy sitting in plain view. You never know when trick-or-treaters (or grown adults) may be on the lookout for candy left alone in an unlocked vehicle.
Thankfully, the good people at Kit Kat were paying attention.
Who steals someones Kit Kat?! WHO DOES THAT?! Shoot us a DM and we'll replace it for you 🍫

This is especially true given the fact it was a delicious Kit Kat bar. It’s hard to imagine this person would’ve broken into the car for candy corn or an Almond Joy.
