So, this is insane.

On August 29, Kyle Wester attempted to break the downhill skateboarding speed record, which was 81.17 mph. Not only did Wester break the record, but he crushed it: 89.41 mph.

I expected this to be crazy… but it’s even more amazing to watch. It’s absolutely terrifying.

Watching that immediately made me think of the final scene from the 90s movie Airborne, which I’m guessing doesn’t hold up too well these days given it’s basically a rollerblading version of Karate Kid, and no one rollerblades anymore.  It also featured a long-haired Seth Green and a young Jack Black as you can see in this laughably bad trailer:

You probably didn’t come to this post expecting an Airborne trailer, but there you go.
