Imagine some of the gross things you have read about involving unexpected things in fast food. Whether it’s hair, body parts, bugs or even drugs, people have shockingly found the strangest and grossest of things when visiting a fast food restaurant.

This man though, for the first time in history, was happy when he bit into his McDonald’s burger to find something unexpected. Dave Cook of Chesterfield, Virginia bit into his burger and discovered a $20 bill tucked into the meat of a burger at a local McDonald’s. Granted, money is known to be dirty so it was probably still gross to bite into but at least you can at least still use the $20. Despite that, Cook said he still finished the burger.

Cook didn’t know why the $20 bill was in the burger and really wasn’t mad about it, it was simply a weird story. While he didn’t initially come forward with the McDonald’s restaurant, he said he would return the money if someone were to claim the $20. As of now, staff and McDonald’s corporate office can’t figure out how the money got there. Or if someone on the staff did knew how the money got there, they don’t seem to be talking.

The way I see it, if I’m McDonald’s, I let Cook keep the $20. This is probably the first time where someone bit into something they weren’t expecting and didn’t feel like suing so that seems like McDonalds dodged a bullet. Because it could’ve been far worse in there.
