Last week, Mike Tyson wiped out on his hoverboard and naturally, we all laughed at him. But you know who wasn’t laughing? Tyson’s doctor.

The former heavyweight champion apparently sought medical attention after the fall and, according to TMZ Sports, was instructed to stay in bed for a week. Not even Buster Douglas, Evander Holyfield or Lennox Lewis laid Tyson out like that.

TMZ reports that Tyson has forgiven his wife for posting the fairly humiliating video on Instagram (even though it was on Mike’s own account). Here it is again for you schadenfreude lovers out there.

You would think that as a former world-class athlete, Tyson could handle a little fall, but apparently those 49-year-old bones aren’t as tough as they used to be.

According to TMZ, Tyson says he’s “never riding the board again. It’s not for me.”

Mounting evidence suggests hoverboards are all-around bad news. After all, if they can knock out Iron Mike, you and I don’t stand a chance.
