Getting stuck in a pizza oven vent sounds like something that could have been done by Florida Man, the world’s greatest superhero. However, the man in this story is from New York.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department says deputies arrived on the scene at Pontillo’s Pizzeria in suburban Rochester at around 3:45 AM, where they found 53-year-old Richard Graham caught in a vent, more specifically, a bit of ductwork that led from an oven to a room vent. What he was doing in there at that hour, we’ll never know.

Penfield firefighters pulled him out, and afterwords Graham checked himself into a local hospital before being arraigned on burglary and criminal mischief charges. Police say Graham caused $2,000 in damage to the restaurant. He was sent to county jail because he was considered a repeat offender.

Even Florida Man would have never thought of being caught in the vent of a pizzeria oven after trying to burglarize a pizza joint.
