Life as a fish is pretty straightforward. Swim around, look for food… and look to avoid being food.

When the time comes to escape from the jaws of a shark looking to dine on your carcass, you have to hope you swim faster than the hungry shark, can find a good place to hide, or hope the shark simply misses you and gets one of your fish buddies instead.

In the case of one tarpon recently off the coast of Florida, a perfect hiding spot was found, temporarily, in a fishing boat of all places.
