Golf star Bryson DeChambeau went viral for all the wrong reasons at the LIV Golf’s Chicago Invitational over the weekend when he had an embarrassingly dramatic response to accidentally clotheslining himself with the dividing rope. And during Friday afternoon’s Presidents Cup, United States captain Davis Love III made DeChambeau look really bad – intentionally or not.
During the broadcast, Love can be seen driving a golf cart until he gets to the dividing rope. But crossing the rope was no issue for Love as he seamlessly lifted it with one hand and lifted it over his head without even stopping the golf cart.
The scene caught the attention of Twitter user @PapaSmurfUTE, who shared the video while contrasting it to DeChambeau’s antics from last weekend.
Davis Love III can drive a golf cart, reach to the other side, lift the rope & drive under it without issue. Bryson can’t even walk at 1 MPH under the rope, without running into it. LIV Golf makes players soft AF! https://t.co/mxuvByl0LX pic.twitter.com/j1E8UcMyBG

“Davis Love III can drive a golf cart, reach to the other side, lift the rope & drive under it without issue. Bryson can’t even walk at 1 MPH under the rope, without running into it. LIV Golf makes players soft AF!” the Tweet read.
It’s not clear whether or not the broadcast showed the clip of Love to intentionally poke fun at DeChambeau’s struggles from last weekend. But either way, it led to quite the hilarious comparison.
