Tiger Woods acknowledges the gallery as he walks off the No. 18 green during the final round of the Masters. Golf Masters Tournament Final Round

The 2022 Masters produced some historic moments, but five-time Masters winner Tiger Woods stole the show at Augusta National in a memorable comeback a year after nearly losing his leg in a horrific car accident.

Woods finished the event in 47th place and wasn’t really in contention to win, but it was more about just competing for Tiger and his fans. He gave us some vintage Tiger moments and looked happy to be back on the golf course, which is all everyone wanted to see last weekend.

This has led to speculation as to when we will see Tiger play again on the PGA Tour. He has said that he will no longer be performing regularly and will pick and choose his events going forward.

We do already know that he will be at The Open in July and that he has filed an entry for the U.S. Open.

U.S. Presidential Cup captain Davis Love III recently spoke about the possibility of having Tiger on the team for the Presidents Cup tournament against the International team in September. It sounds like he would love to have Woods on the team.

“I mean, if he says, ‘You’re not captain anymore, I’m going to be captain’, we’ll probably have to talk about that one,” Love said via Golfweek on Wednesday. “But anything else, if he wants to be co-captain or assistant captain or player… whatever he wants to do.”4040

Love also added that people shouldn’t be surprised should Woods decide to play for the U.S group in September.

This tournament is obviously a little bit away, but this is very encouraging news for fans excited to see more and more of Tiger these coming months after an impressive Masters performance.
