It’s no real secret that former United States President Donald Trump has a passion for playing golf. After all, he owns several prominent golf courses across the world and is a notable proponent of the Saudi-backed LIV Golf circuit. But this week, he took a lot of heat from one political opponent for just how much time he spends playing golf instead of worrying about the country.

During a recent appearance on The View, Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie absolutely blasted Donald Trump for how much time he spends playing golf instead of worrying about the voters or the American people, suggesting that the former president doesn’t really care about the people of the United States.

“The guy spends more time playing golf and sitting in a tuxedo at Mar-a-Lago than he does worrying about the concerns and the problems of this country,” Christie said on the show.

Christie does have a point as Trump went out golfing an estimated 280 times during his presidency at a cost of over $100 million to the American people.

Despite this, Trump is the current front-runner to win the Republican presidential nomination and advance to the general election against President Joe Biden.
