The golf world was saddened by the news that Grayson Murray, a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, had passed away suddenly at the age of 30.
Tour commissioner Jay Monahan shared the sad news. As part of Saturday’s coverage of the Charles Schwab Challenge, CBS’ Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman paid tribute to Murray adding that, per the wishes of Murray’s family, the tournament would continue.

Murray was a two-time winner on Tour. This included a victory in January at The Sony Open in Hawaii. He played in the Charles Schwab challenge, shooting a 68 on Thursday. Murray played the first 16 holes of Friday’s round but withdrew with two holes remaining.
