Legendary broadcaster Jim Nantz is viewed by many as the voice of modern golf, always broadcasting during the golf tournaments of the year. And one golfer got the experience of a lifetime when Nantz “broadcasted” during his golf swing on Friday

Nantz, a native of Monterrey, California, was at Pebble Beach Golf Course, one of the most iconic golf courses in the world on Friday.

It seems like he was just walking around, and he ran into a group golfing on one of the most recognizable holes on the course. The group noticed Nantz, and presumably asked him if he could offer his commentary during their golf swing.

He did just that, and perhaps even more wild was the golfer hit an incredible shot onto the green during Nantz’s commentary.

“That’s a good-looking golf swing,” Nantz said after the shot. “Oh, it’s beautiful. Right in the middle of the green. Smart play. Protecting that lead here in the final rounds.”

Very few people will ever get to experience this kind of in-person interaction with a legend in sports like Nantz. And golf fans were certainly envious of this lucky group of golfers on social media.

This golfer deserves a ton of credit for hitting such a great shot in this moment. About 95 percent of golfers (including myself) would absolutely crumble under the pressure of Nantz’s commentary and completely shank thing ball…

One thing is for sure, Jim Nantz gave this golfer a moment that he will likely never forget.
