The conclusion of the 2023 Masters took place Sunday, and Spanish superstar Jon Rahm quickly took center stage.

Saturday saw Round 3 cut short due to inclement weather. At the time of play being suspended, Rahm sat four strokes behind LIV Golf star Brooks Koepka. It didn’t take long for him to cut the lead quickly when action resumed on Sunday.

Rahm finished his third round Sunday morning in second place just two strokes behind Koepka. He would quickly take the lead in Round Four after starting his front 9 at one under par and he never looked back.

While Koepka struggled and failed to keep his positive momentum, Rahm continued to pour on a number of impressive birdies to build his lead.

He ultimately stepped to the 18th hole with a four-stroke lead over Koepka and Phil Mickelson. He started the hole with a poor tee shot, but quickly got back into position to bury a par putt to take home the Masters championship.

His impressive performance caught the attention of the golf world as many took to social media to praise him for the victory.

Rahm is now building an extremely impressive resume at only age 28. He has now won both the Masters and the U.S. Open, something that only 17 golfers have ever done.

With his victory at Augusta, Jon Rahm becomes the third Spaniard to win a green jacket, with the most recent being LIV Golf member Sergio Garcia.
