It’s been a frustrating day so far for Jon Rahm at the 2023 Open Championship. He was already upset with the media, and when he hit a bad shot, he totally let loose. Rahm could be heard dropping an NSFW F-bomb on a hot mic after he hit a bad shot.

Rahm’s outburst occurred on the 10th hole at Royal Liverpool Golf Club during second-round play of The Open. Rahm looked to make par, but things didn’t go as planned. He let everyone know just exactly how he felt at that moment.

“Apologies for any language there,” the announcer said shortly after.

Jon Rahm has become increasingly agitated by the media coverage this week and expressed it.

“I’m trying to walk, and there’s way too many people in my way, and I can’t go forward at my pace because they’re in the way,” the two-time major champion Rahm said via TMZ. “Very simple. Then I’m walking off 18, and I’m trying to deal with the unlucky moment on 18, and there’s somebody with a boom mic on my ass keeping up with Rory [McIlroy]’s pace, and I can’t go at my own pace. They kind of disregarded that I existed, that’s all,” he concluded.

Friday’s action didn’t exactly put Jon Rahm in a better mood, either. Some golf fans sympathized with his plight, but others did not.
