Despite not supporting or having an interest in joining LIV Golf, Jon Rahm was gracious enough to send a message to Bryson DeChambeau after he posted an impressive 58 on his way to winning his first LIV title.

DeChambeau talked about his amazing victory Sunday.

“It’s beyond words,” he stated. “I’ve been working so hard for a long time, and I knew something special was going to come at some point, I just didn’t know when…Then today I just kind of felt everything clicking.” DeChambeau received support and congratulations from several of his fellow golfers including Rahm.

Rahm tweeted:  “No matter who or where you are playing, 58 on a Sunday to win is an incredible accomplishment! Congrats @b_dechambeau on your win today at the Greenbrier.”

This comes after last week when Rahm was asked if he would ever consider joining the Saudi tour, and his answer continues to be no; although two of his good friends, Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia, are part of LIV Golf, Jon has no interest in joining them.

“I always have a good time with Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia in the practice rounds of majors,” he said. “Phil respects my decision, and I respect his [choice]. Mickelson has told me that I have no reason to go play for LIV, and he has told me that multiple times.”
