Jordan Spieth is in his final preparations for the 150th British Open, which begins on Thursday. It appears that part of those preparations includes absolutely destroying an ice cream cone during his practice round.

It’s unclear if Spieth was really hungry, really hot, or just needed a sugar boost, but a video of him demolishing a 99 Flake (an ice cream cone with a Cadbury Flake sticking out of it) emerged on Wednesday as he was getting in a practice round.

Alas, Spieth didn’t even have time to finish his ice cream, devouring four bites in 12 seconds before handing it off and surely giving himself an ice cream headache.

While many of the LIV Golf players at The Open are feeling disrespected this week, it looks like Spieth, who spurned rumors about joining the Saudi-backed series, is doing just fine. No word on whether or not the LIV Golf players got their own 99 Flakes.

Naturally, the golf world had a field day with Spieth’s very brief, very intense ice cream moment and took to social media to share their reactions.
