LIV Golf’s contracts have become a massive source of conversation in the sports world since the Saudi-backed golf league started luring the nation’s top golfers with massive guaranteed payouts. But now, we have a look at what some of those LIV contracts might look like, including several odd provisions.

The Wall Street Journal released a report on Wednesday detailing a draft contract offered to players joining LIV Golf. The contract gave a look into what exactly the high-profile golfers are agreeing to in return for the massive payouts. And there were several strange provisions and clauses in the draft contract.

According to the Wall Street Journal, players are contractually obligated to wear LIV apparel, even when playing in non-LIV events, they agree to help recruit other players to join LIV Golf when requested by the league, and they’re told to refrain from giving exclusive interviews without approval from the league. Additionally, players need approval for most of the logos they wear.

The contract did also have a more pleasant provision for the golfers, however. Players are $1 million bonus for winning any of golf’s four major championships.

It’s unclear whether these provisions apply to all golfers who join the Saudi-backed league or if the contracts are negotiable. Regardless, this gives a little look into what LIV Golf requires of its athletes.
