Brandel Chamblee and Phil Mickelson have been going back and forth on social media ever since Brooks Koepka’s coach, Claude Harmon III, called Brandel Chamblee a “paid actor” for Golf Channel.

Chamblee responded to Harmon on Twitter, sharing his deep dislike for LIV Golf as well. That’s when Mickelson decided to add his two cents to the conversation.

“Poor Brandel. He can rip me apart and countless others but as soon as someone shows his ignorance he can’t handle it. He’s softer now than he was as a player,” Mickelson wrote on Twitter, in response to a Golfweek article about Chamblee’s original tweet.

Chamblee didn’t let that insult pass him by. He then took a shot at Mickelson. He invited Phil to join him on the Golf Channel set during the US Open next month in Los Angeles and then reminded fans what Mickelson said about the Saudis, prompting him to take a lengthy hiatus from the public eye last year.

Chamblee also reminded folks about Mickelson’s association with a known gambler Billy Walters who went to prison for insider trading and a few other things. Walters has a book coming out later this summer.

Mickelson couldn’t respond to Chamblee’s latest tweets cause he had been blocked. Sounds like these two don’t like each other very much.

The golf world couldn’t get enough of the drama.
