KTLA is reporting that PGA Tour pro Bill Haas was seriously injured in a two-car collision in Los Angeles that killed one driver. There’s also a report that actor Luke Wilson was injured in the other vehicle.

From KTLA:

One person was killed and two others were injured in a roll-over crash in Pacific Palisades Tuesday evening, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two vehicles, including a Ferrari, were involved in the crash.

The two other people who were injured in the incident suffered serious injuries, according to the fire department. Both vehicles appeared to have major damage and were fairly far from each other, aerial video from the scene showed.

No other details have been released.

From the LAFD release:

Traffic Collision; 6:31PM; 500 N Chautauqua Bl; https://goo.gl/maps/pFu7N1oaL3K2; Pacific Palisades; Two car collision with rollover. One person DOA (age/gender unk) and two patients being transported (35M and 50F both in serious condition)

(Bill Haas is 35.)

Haas was in Los Angeles for the Genesis Open at Riviera; Luke Wilson is also an avid golfer. The accident reportedly took place within a very short drive of Riviera.

Haas is a 6-time PGA Tour winner, and was the 2011 FedEx Cup Champion. He’s the son of longtime PGA Tour pro Jay Haas, and has appeared on 3 Presidents Cup teams.

Hopefully Haas’s injuries aren’t life or career-threatening, with the same hopes for all the survivors of the accident.

UPDATE: KTLA reporting Haas was indeed the passenger, and that he is expected to survive.
