From his time splashing three-pointers at Davidson in the NCAA Tournament to leading the Golden State Warriors to four NBA titles with to his long-range shooting, Steph Curry has been hitting shots from downtown for a very long time.
The NBA megastar turned it up a notch on Friday afternoon, showing off his range and accuracy in a completely different sport.
While participating at this week’s American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, Curry hit a golf shot that might top any shot he’s ever made on the hardwood, drilling a birdie from 97 yards out.

At this point, nobody is all that surprised by Curry pulling off seemingly otherworldly feats, but this particular moment was enough to get quite the rise from the sports world, who offered their stunned reactions.

This wasn’t even the first time Curry impressed with the clubs this weekend. During Thursday’s practice round, the Warriors superstar showed off his power during the long drive contest.

The whole event is a three-day, 54-hole tournament that includes modified Stableford rules, giving 10 points for a double eagle, eight points for an eagle, three points for a birdie, one point for par, no points for bogey, and a two-point deduction for double bogey.
There’s still a long way to go in the tournament, but if Curry keeps hitting shots like this, he could earn himself some more hardware this year.
