Tiger Woods Syndication: The Augusta Chronicle

As many know, Tiger Woods has been in a court battle with his ex-girlfriend Erica Herman. Herman wants millions from the golfer after he broke up with her and kicked her out of his house.

Herman’s lawyers filed a motion in court on Wednesday asking the court to reconsider four issues, including a lack of admissible evidence.

Herman wanted the judge to dismiss the nondisclosure agreement she signed when she started dating Woods and the judge refused.

The filing also stated she never agreed to arbitration. Herman wants this case to go to trial so all the evidence she has against Woods would come out to the public.

Her lawyers said in their fillings that “the U.S. Supreme Court has consistently held that a party cannot be forced to arbitrate without a finding that she agreed to do so, which means that in this case – with no evidence in the record – arbitration should not be compelled, or, at a minimum, an evidentiary hearing should be held.”

But the judge in the case ruled last month that Herman didn’t have enough evidence for claims of authenticity of the NDA was not enough to force an evidentiary hearing.

Herman has made several claims against Woods since the case started and most of her appeals and evidence on this case have been basically denied by the judge. Herman is seeking $30 million.
