Heading into the final round of this weekend’s WGC Bridgestone Invitational, Jordan Spieth was in the running to win the $1.62 million winning share.
But Spieth was in the limelight for other reasons. While practicing on the putting green prior to his final round at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, Spieth nailed a putt without looking. Thankfully, the folks at the PGA and NBC were able to capture the epic moment and bring it to us all.

Watching the video, you can quickly tell that this isn’t the first time Spieth has practiced this trick. While executing the putt, Spieth smirks at his caddy before the ball even goes in the hole. We also know he’s a big fan of trick shots after watching his recent appearance in a Coca-Cola commercial.

In his quick rise on the PGA Tour, Spieth has already developed a reputation as a strong putter. Even his putter itself has gained some notoriety. And despite Spieth’s struggles over the past few months, it’s nice to be able to enjoy the golfer’s greatness. It also brings to mind another Jordan who famously made a shot with his eyes closed.
