If the PGA ever came up with a HORSE competition (that’s actually not that bad of an idea), no one will be able to top this long-range bunker chip from Zach Johnson.
At the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, Johnson found himself in the bunker trying to save par on the Par 3 17th hole. Johnson tried his best to get as close to the hole as possible and with a bit of help from Ben An’s ball, made birdie instead.

Hopefully, Johnson called “bank” on his shot but either way it was impressive. This shot was pretty reminiscent to Louis Oosthuizen on the 16th at Augusta on Masters Sunday in 2016. While I give the edge to Oosthuizen both based on the difficulty of the shot and the moment, Johnson deserves some props.

Johnson ended with a rather forgettable +6, tied for 66th but he certainly made the shot of the tournament that won’t soon be forgotten.
