It’s not often you see a high school offensive lineman that’s bigger than most NFL offensive linemen, but that’s the case for Byron Washington out of DeSoto High School in Texas.

Byron Washington is in just his junior season of high school football in DeSoto Texas, but he is already bigger than the vast majority of NFL offensive linemen even before his 18th birthday, standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing in at 380 pounds.

He’s absolutely massive for his age, and as a result, a recent photo of him has gone absolutely viral on social media with fans reacting to how much he dwarfs his competition.

Even though he’s huge for his age, that hasn’t necessarily made him one of the most highly recruited players in his high school class. Washington is currently ranked as just the No. 61 offensive tackle and the No. 709 overall prospect in the 2025 high school recruiting class.

There’s still plenty of time for Washington to vault up the recruiting class rankings, however, as he will not be signing with the college of his choice until around this time next year. It will certainly be interesting to see how he continues to develop as a football prospect.
