A youth basketball game on Sunday ended abruptly after a truly horrifying incident emerged regarding a fan and a coach involved in the game.
Players and fans alike frantically scurried after one person in attendance reportedly went to his car to grab a gun.
According to Peyton Yager of Fox4 in Dallas-Fort Worth, a fight between a coach and a parent in the parking lot led to one party heading to their car and grabbing a gun.

As the video shows, everyone immediately began running out of the building once they learned that there may be an active shooter situation.
Luckily Yager detailed that the police found that nobody was injured in the situation and no shots were fired. Regardless, many around the sports world took notice of this now-viral terrifying incident and took to Twitter to detail their reaction.

While nobody may have been hurt physically, this is obviously an extremely scarring and emotional moment for those kids on the court.
It is incredibly sad that these kids can’t even be safe in a public setting like a youth basketball court. Many may not even be inclined to play youth sports anymore, and hopefully one-day things like this will no longer happen to innocent kids.
