The last time Trevor Bauer took the mound, in Game 3 of the ALCS, he was forced to leave four batters in due to a laceration in his pinkie he suffered while trying to fix a drone.
It was gross.
Trevor Bauer's hand injury that came from fixing his drone is no joke pic.twitter.com/QOPCS8NzSt

But now Bauer is all healed up and on the hill for Game 2 of the World Series, which his Cleveland Indians lead 1-0. Nothing can stop him now… except another drone accident?
Apparently one Cubs fan, looking to sabotage his team’s opponent, sent Bauer another drone, in hopes that he’ll injure himself again.

As we publish this, Bauer has made it past the four-batter mark with his pinkie blood-free, so it looks like he kept the new drone in its packaging. He is, however, laboring through a long first inning, so he might be suffering from an ailment known as “Not Being a Good Pitcher.”
Of course, when Bauer left his ALCS start in the first inning due to the original drone injury, the Indians won anyway, 4-2, thanks to a dominant bullpen. Maybe Jason Mollett should’ve bought Andrew Miller a drone instead.
