New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge did not mince words on Tuesday in response to how Toronto Blue Jays broadcasters talked about him on Monday, especially not those cheating insinuations.
Blue Jay broadcasters Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez chatted about Judge and how they saw him side-eying at the plate towards the dugout. Many suggested they were alluding to him cheating, although opponents of that opinion have said that it could have been pitch-tipping, which Major League Baseball does not outlaw.
Nevertheless, the story got significant discussion online and garnered controversy. Judge addressed how Shulman and Martinez talked about him on the broadcast, and he seemed incredibly unhappy.
Yankees reporter for MLB.com, Bryan Hoch, tweeted, “Aaron Judge said that he has some ‘choice words about’ the Blue Jays broadcasters insinuating that he was cheating. He declined to share them.” Judge then continued.
“I’m not happy about it, but people can say what they want. I’ve still got a game to play. I’ve got things to do,” Judge said.

The 2022 American League MVP has gotten off to another audacious start at the plate. He’s already clobbered 10 home runs on the season and has recorded an OPS of 0.957 at this point. Aaron Judge is well on his way to another productive year in pinstripes, and he definitely didn’t take those cheating insinuations lightly or kindly at all.
